We are an international theatre initiative that celebrates and supports the independent theatre community in their ambitions to explore and create on an international scale - supporting collaboration, reciprocity, and exchange all around the world.

The initiative has grown from the roots of Farnham Maltings, a cultural hub nestled in Southwest Surrey, England. As the international arm of Farnham Maltings, we share the organisations passion for community along with the power of cultural exchange and connection.

Our diverse programme of projects and events sparks conversations, sparks creativity, and sparks a sense of togetherness among theatre makers and organisations worldwide.

We're driven by a commitment to cultivating generosity in everything we do. Together, we forge meaningful connections that transcend geographical boundaries, uniting artists, producers and organisations in a shared vision of international collaboration.

Farnham Maltings

Farnham Maltings is many things. For over fifty years the organisation has operated as an arts and cultural centre presenting a programme of performance, craft and participation work which contributes to the town of Farnham’s quality of life. Making its own theatre as well as producing and investing in leading theatre companies, Farnham Maltings tours theatre work nationally.

In 2020 Farnham Maltings helped to gain the town of Farnham with World Craft Town status and thrives as a destination to crafters from around the world.

Farnham Maltings leads the house theatre network a touring initiative made up of over 180 venues, theatres and art centres in the Southeast of England. house improve the range, quality and scale of theatre presented across the region, and exists to develop audiences for contemporary theatre.
